Last Day of New Home Build

Today marked the last day of our new home build. One more page will be added to this section thanking the homeowners and all the contractors that worked on this project. I hope you have all enjoyed this sectionof my website, and have all maybe learned a little bit as I have.

If you have not checked this out, you can start here. The section spans 40 days of actual build time and shows high def images of how a new home is put together. It is taken from my, a home inspector, perspective. I really tried to show you how certain aspects of a home come together and are built.

Well, on to the next project. I hope we can come up with something as exciting to focus on for our next home inspection project.

See the homepage of my home inspection website for all your home inspection needs.

Joes Comments

Joe, thank you for stopping by and checking out my home inspector blog. Most of the city names are the larger ones in my area. The origin of a lot of towns around here is Native American. On this particular home, I did not perform any phase inspections or a final inspection on this one. I know the builder well, and it was for his family. So, I was able to get access everyday and document the whole thing for my website. Just though it would be a fun little project.

Slide Show Wisconsin New Construction

Ian, you have many very interesting subjects in your inspectors blog. I enjoyed the pictures of your new home construction project in Wisconsin. Did Square One Inspectons do multiple phase inspections thruout construction, or just the final inspection? Being a home inspector
(JWK Inspections) in San Antono, Texas I was interested in seeing all the differences in construction from a different part of the country.
I see you do inspections in Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Ripon, Waupun, and Beaver Dam. Those are very unique city and or town names, or are those counties? What is the origin / background of the names? That might be an interesting blog if there is a certain history to those names. Are these areas close to any large cities? I'm not that familar with Wisconsin, except of course for the Green Bay Packers.
Again I enjoyed viewing your inspectors blog. It is a very good educational source for your customers, realtors and other inspectors. I just started my inspector blog at www.jwkhomeinspections.com . If you get a chance check it out.
Thanx and good luck, Joe
