Qualifications

  • As a home inspector in WI I am fully licensed by the state. License number available upon request.
  • I am fully insured, to protect myself and my customers.
  • I am a member of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors. This also includes the Wisconsin chapter.   I will list some of the qualifications for membership in this organization.
  • I must complete INACHI's Inspector Exam every year, seen here.
  • I have completed InterNACHI's Ethics Obstacle Course
  • I have taken InterNACHI's Standards of Practice Quiz
  • I must mail, fax, or submit online InterNACHI's Affidavit. 
  • I have  agreed to adhere to the Standards of Practice.
  • I have agreed to abide by the Code of Ethics.
  • I have agreed to continue learning (24 hours/year) as per the Continuing Education Policy. This is stricter than our state requirements.
  • I have  agreed to maintain my member Online Continuing Education Log  as per the Continuing Education Policy.
  • I have a background in roofing and home construction.
  • The state of Wi requires 20 hours of CE Credits per year, I prefer to go beyond that to better serve my clients. The 20 hours is a minimum. Please call for a list of educational tools I have participated in during the last year.
  • I am a FULL Time Home Inspector. I am not a contractor, or other trade worker supplementing my income doing PART time Home Inspections.
  • I am a memeber of IAC2, the International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants. This is an organization that qualifies home inspectors for mold inspections and radon testing.
  • I am unbiased. I have no financial interest in the sale or purchase of your home. My report will give you the information you need to buy or sell your home with ease.
